Ackee is very brave, sweet and had a survivor spirit. He was one of a bonded pair and would always protect his lil sis Saltfish. He would wait patiently for his share of food. He was scared at first but eventually he learned to love pets.

In Loving Meowmory of Sweet Ackee šš¾
March 13, 2025 ā July 3, 2025
One of the hardest losses to accept. During a routine check to refill his colonyās auto-feeder, we noticed kitten Ackee was underweight. We rushed him to the vet immediately, he was hospitalised but didnāt survive the night. Ackee's death reflects the harsh truth that many kittens on the street never make it because help comes too late or none at all. It also highlights a quiet crisis: overnight care for hospitalised animals is missing when itās often needed most. We will honor Ackeeās memory doing everything we can to make sure vulnerable cats have access to lifesaving overnight vet care.
