Welcome to OnlyPaws Cat Rescue (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website, participating in our programs, making donations, sponsoring cats, or adopting through us (collectively the “Services”), you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our Services.

1. Purpose of Our Services

OnlyPaws Cat Rescue is a community-driven, volunteer-based initiative dedicated to improving the welfare of cats across Jamaica. Our mission is to rescue, provide veterinary care, carry out TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return), foster, rehome and feed cats in need, with a primary focus on supporting street and stray cats, while also assisting companion cats that require care. We operate without a physical shelter and do not house, board or keep animals. Instead, we coordinate a network of volunteers, foster homes and veterinary partners to provide safe, temporary care. A key part of our work includes TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) to help humanely manage stray and feral cat populations. Our services are provided in good faith and rely entirely on the generosity of volunteers, donors, and adopters.

2. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.

  • Provide accurate and truthful information when completing adoption, sponsorship, or donation forms.

  • Comply with these Terms and applicable laws.

3. Donations and Sponsorships

  • All donations and sponsorship contributions are voluntary and non-refundable.

  • We make every effort to use funds responsibly to support cat rescue, care, and related initiatives.

  • Sponsorship of a specific cat does not imply ownership or exclusive rights over the animal.

4. Adoption Services

  • Adoptions are subject to approval and completion of our adoption process.

  • Adoption fees contribute to veterinary care, food, and rescue operations.

  • Adopters agree to provide a safe and loving home, proper veterinary care, and to never engage in abandonment or cruelty.

  • If an adopter can no longer keep a cat, we request that the cat be returned to us rather than abandoned or given away without notice.

 

5. Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR)

We conduct TNVR as part of our mission to reduce cat overpopulation. While we take precautions for the welfare of cats, outcomes may vary due to factors beyond our control.

 

6. Website Use

  • You may use our website for lawful purposes only.

  • You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, or distribute harmful material.

  • Content on our website, including photos, text, and designs, is owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce or use it without permission.

Refund & Donations Policy

At OnlyPaws Cat Rescue Jamaica, all contributions, including adoption fees and donations, support the veterinary care, food, shelter, and resources required to rescue and care for cats in need.

1. Adoption Fees

  • Once the adoption process begins, adoption fees are non-refundable, as they go directly toward the care and resources for your chosen cat.

  • If an approved adoption does not proceed, your fee can be applied toward adopting another cat at a later date.

  • Fees will not be refunded for changes of mind, personal circumstances, allergies, moving, or any reason unrelated to the welfare of the cat.

  • We encourage all adopters to carefully consider their decision before submitting an application.

2. Donations

  • All donations, sponsorship contributions, and fundraising support are voluntary and non-refundable.

  • Donations are used responsibly to support rescue operations, veterinary care, and other initiatives.

  • Donors may choose to sponsor specific cats, but sponsorship does not imply ownership or exclusive rights over the animal.

 

3. Application of Fees and Donations

  • Both adoption fees and donations directly fund the care, medical treatment, and resources required for cats in our rescue.

  • Contributions that do not result in a completed adoption or sponsorship will still support ongoing rescue work and programs.

 

4. Returning Cats

  • If an adopter can no longer keep a cat, we request that the cat be returned to OnlyPaws so we can rehome them safely.

  • Fees will not be refunded, but future adoption or sponsorship opportunities are available.
