Frequently Asked Questions
What it means to be a volunteer?
Being an OnlyPaws volunteer means more than helping Jamaican street cats directly, it means becoming an advocate for their well-being. In Jamaica, cats are often misunderstood and neglected but we believe we can slowly change that mindset. You’ll learn about cat health, behavior, and the importance of spay and neuter, so you can help others see cats differently. By spreading awareness in your community, you inspire compassion and help Jamaicans understand that every cat deserves care and respect. Together, we can create a Jamaica where love for animals reflects the best of who we are as a people.
Which volunteer role fits you?

-
Coordinator Volunteers: Collaborate with administrative volunteers to coordinate rescue efforts and upcoming events, organize schedules, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
-
Remote Volunteers: Online advocacy, creating content, sharing updates, and raising awareness for our mission.
